Christine is a Belgian-New Zealander, the granddaughter of the Belgian painter, Guillaume Leunens. She has a Master of Liberal Arts from Harvard University Extension School and is an award-winning screenwriter. Taika Waititi (WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS, BOY, HUNT FOR THE WILDERPEOPLE, THOR RAGNAROK) adapted her second novel, CAGING SKIES into an multi award winning film (Film title: ‘Jojo Rabbit’).
Christine has finished a new novel, In Amber’s Wake, published recently in New Zealand and Australia and coming out all over the world. She has written the screenplay for the film adaptation of In Amber’s Wake, which is currently in development.
